Beautiful Fall Yosemite Intimate Wedding with a Bear Sighting and Star Trails
When your first look starts with a sighting of a bear, you know it’s a special day! We had a wonderful day with these two, from their first look and ceremony in the valley, to sunset portraits at Taft Point, and through an intimate reception in Yosemite West where we also did night photos with star trails!
“Wow. Where can I begin with Kathryn? She was the first vendor I booked for my wedding that I was planning from across the country. She was extremely kind and helpful! Before I booked, she took the time to call me and we chatted about her work and what I had going on and it seemed like a great fit! She recommended a vendor for every department and I actually went with everyone she suggested and they were all perfect! She also helped me with planning my day! She gave me location ideas, a timeline for the day, vendors, permit information and kept me up to date with all the covid protocols as they changed. She remained in contact the entire time leading up to my big day ensuring my nerves were calm and I had everything I needed. When she arrived she introduced herself and her second photographer- who happens to be her husband. He was just as friendly and personable as she was! They made me feel so comfortable and took so many pictures!! They made sure the day was everything we wanted it to be! They were so amazing!! I know this sounds kinda weird, but by the end of the day we wanted to be their friends and go get a drink! Highly highly recommend!! I couldn’t have planned my wedding from across the country during a pandemic and wildfires without Kathryn! She went way above and beyond her duty of a photographer!”
